Lap Records:
More Lap Records were broken at Rd 1 of the 2008 State Series.
  • Bradley DeLuca in the Falcon Rallye Sprint broke the 9 year old NbA lap record by 0.07 in the dark in Race 3. The record is now 1:20.17. Serge wont rest until he sees a 19, so good luck.
  • Jason Armstrong again broke his own NbF lap record twice, this time smashing it by by 0.67 of a second. The new mark is now 1:22.96. WOW!, where is he going to go from here.
  • Kirk Davis didnt break the lap record for class NcD those pesky Volkswagon Sports are too fast, however he is the fastest RX2 to compete at Mallala and he is getting pretty quick too -1:22.43.
  • John Illingworth, we think broke the NaB lap record with a time of 1:44.37 at Easter in March but we need to do some further research to confirm.
  • Graham Boulter, we also think, set a lap record but we need more info. We think the car is logged as an NbC, with a time of 1:32.50. Anyone have thoughts on this?
